Piedmont Athens Regional Pharmacy Residency

Piedmont Athens Regional offers a Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program that builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions. Upon completion of the 12-month program, pharmacists will be eligible for board certification and postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training. Our PGY1 Residency program was initiated in 2019 and is ASHP accredited. Currently 2 positions are available. The residency program will begin with hospital orientation in mid-late June.
