In addition to our regular classes here, we offer health screens and educational programs, a Speakers Bureau and workplace wellness and safety programs.

Classes Offered

  • CPR - The American Heart Association Heartsaver course covers CPR for adults, children and infants. You'll receive a two-year certification card at the end of the course.
  • Courage to Quit (Tobacco Cessation) - This four-session program is designed to help you stop using tobacco products for good.
  • First Aid - The National Safety Council Basic First Aid class offers you a three-year certification.
  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction - Learn ways to reduce stress, lessen physical and emotional pain, and cope better with everyday demands. Mindfulness is a way of paying attention, of being present in every moment in your life. Research has shown mindfulness meditation to be helpful with many health conditions.
  • Speakers Bureau - Our Speakers Bureau includes specific topics that address documented needs of the community and put our mission and core values in practice. Presentations are free for civic and church organizations. Call 706-475-1029 to schedule a speaker.
  • Super Sitter Class - For 12 to 15 year olds interested in learning about babysitting as a business, child behavior, first aid and safety.
