Clay community care clinic

Real change lives here
Piedmont Athens Regional’s Clay Community Care Clinic (CCCC) accepts all adult patients regardless of insurance status--no patient is too ill for us. We aim to provide patient-centered comprehensive care.
Our mission is to provide quality access and continuity of care to the patients we serve.
The CCCC was dedicated to Dr. Jim Clay. Dr. Clay served as senior pathologist and medical director of the Piedmont Athens Regional laboratory for 35 years. He was kind, patient, humble and caring- a true Southern gentleman. Dr. Clay valued education and helping others. He realized he could support both by leaving his legacy with the Clay Community Care Clinic.
CCCC provides patients with high-quality primary care and specialty services. CCCC allows our medical residents to provide comprehensive medical care for every patient, regardless of age, race, gender, ability to pay, insurance status in-house.
Donate to Clay Community Care Clinic
The clinic relies on the generosity of donors to support programs, expanding educational opportunities for our medical residents, and providing medication assistance and resources to those in need.
To assist us, individuals, families and corporations may donate to the Clay Community Care Clinic. These donations may be designated for the endowment or direct patient services.
Donations to Clay Community Care Clinic makes a difference in many ways:
- Address social determinants to healthcare (e.g., food, clothing, housing and transportation).
- Offer access to specialty clinics such as endocrinology, pulmonology, nephrology, infectious disease, ophthalmology, hematology-oncology and geriatric care.
- Provide on-site social work to assist with Medicaid, charity care coordination and patient medication assistance.
- Reduce emergency department visits, number of hospitalizations and readmission rates.
Donate to day to make a positive difference in your community.
