Columbus Regional Foundation events

The Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation is pleased to announce the 2026 Piedmont Classic - Driven by Mercedes-Benz of Columbus, benefitting the John B. Amos Cancer Center, a tradition that began over 30 years ago.

The Piedmont Classic was started to raise awareness of and funds for the John B. Amos Cancer Center for the benefit of those affected by cancer in our community. As the only accredited comprehensive cancer center in the Chattahoochee Valley, the Amos Cancer Center is a place where patients and their families receive exceptional and compassionate care with access to cutting-edge technology and clinical trials – here at home, close to family, friends, and loved ones. Today, the Amos Cancer team treats more than 600 patients each day.

Because of funds raised through the 2025 Piedmont Classic and very generous donations, we were able to create an Imaging Room equipped with highly automated, state-of-the-art image processing for our cancer patients. This year, funds raised will continue to support advanced medical technology and patient comfort initiatives at the John B. Amos Cancer Center, helping us deliver exceptional care close to home.

Over the past 30 years, sponsors and participants have helped raise more than $3.9 million to support patients at the John B. Amos Cancer Center. We hope you will consider joining us at the event this year.

The 2026 Piedmont Classic - Driven by Mercedes-Benz of Columbus will be held on Monday, April 20th, and Tuesday, April 21st at the Country Club of Columbus. Events include:

• Monday, April 20th - Golf Tournament with the option of a morning or afternoon flight.
• Tuesday, April 21st - Tennis Tournament featuring morning clinics with the National Championship Columbus State University Tennis Team.
