Volunteer services
Your time is a valuable resource with the incredible potential to help others. How would you like to make a personal investment of your time in a place that makes a difference in our community? Hundreds of men and women of all ages have found fulfilling volunteer positions and have provided much-needed services at Piedmont Augusta since 1949. Piedmont is blessed with an amazing group of volunteers. Annually, volunteers donate more than 35,000 hours of service in over 30 hospital departments and support hospital programs, equipment, and initiatives. Whether assisting departments that support patient care or providing comfort and assistance to patients, families, and staff, Piedmont Augusta volunteers have a lasting impact on our community. Their efforts are priceless.
If you are an adult age 18 or older who is not currently enrolled in college, looking to gain experience in a healthcare setting, give back to the community, stay active as an empty nester, find purpose in retirement, or simply make a difference in the lives of others, we invite you to become part of our volunteer family. There is a place for you at Piedmont Augusta, where your time, talents, and compassion can make a meaningful difference every day.
