Overview

As valued hospital employees, our training programs have a competitive resident benefits program to ensure residents and their families are taken care of to address multiple life circumstances. Annual Compensation (2025-2026)

Annual Compensation includes salary, an educational allowance and an annual food stipend divided into two equal payments.

  • PGY Level 1: $62,289.18
  • PGY Level 2: $65,539.23
  • PGY Level 3: $65,970.85
  • PGY Level 4: $68,266.14

Educational stipend

All Piedmont Macon residents will receive an educational stipend.

On-call food stipend

Residents receive $2000 per year (divided into 2 payments) to help cover on-call meals.

Conference travel

Piedmont Macon will provide additional 1500 to be used for travel expense.

Leave policy

Each resident receives annual paid leave to cover time off for vacation, sick, holiday or other time away from work.

Professional liability insurance

Hospital will provide professional liability insurance coverage during the Training Period within the scope of the Program. Professional liability insurance coverage provided for the purpose of Program training does not extend to Moonlighting activities or other activities.
