GME conference schedule

Overview
- Didactics occur every Thursday from 12-5 pm; this is protected time. Lectures are focused on practical topics that will help you prepare for your future as a psychiatrist. All residents are required to give at least one lecture in the PG3 year.
- Patient safety conferences are held at least monthly. Topics are reviewed in a case-based format to allow residents to participate in Root Cause Analysis.
- Case presentations occur at least monthly and always include a discussion on healthcare disparities and what we can do to better address them.
- Journal club is held approximately once a month.
- Process groups meet as needed with one of our faculty member facilitators to allow discussion of resident experiences.
- Institutional medical grand rounds are held once a month. Faculty and guest speakers discuss a broad range of subjects from clinical practice.
