Conyers, Ga. (November 11, 2025) – Piedmont Rockdale Hospital and Piedmont Oncology are excited to welcome Munizay Paracha, M.D., a fellowship-trained hematologist/oncologist who will care for patients with cancer and patients with benign and malignant blood disorders.
Dr. Paracha will care for patients with cancers of the breast, lung, gastrointestinal or genitourinary systems. She is currently researching barriers to mental healthcare among cancer patients, including diagnosis and treatment of depression and anxiety. Dr. Paracha has contributed to more than 10 publications on oncology-related healthcare issues and is an active member of the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr. Paracha received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at Boston Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in hematology and oncology at East Carolina University Medical Center in Greenville, N.C.
