Cartersville, GA (October 13, 2025) – On Friday, October 10, the Bartow Senior Citizen Center welcomed more than 200 community members aged 50 and older for the annual Senior Inforum, a vibrant resource fair designed to support healthy aging and community engagement. The event was held at the Senior Center on Beavers Drive in Cartersville and featured a wide array of health services, local vendors, and educational resources.
Hosted in partnership with Piedmont Cartersville, the Senior Inforum offered free health screenings, access to community resources, and opportunities to connect with local vendors specializing in senior services. Attendees also enjoyed door prizes, refreshments, and one-on-one conversations with healthcare professionals.
“This event is a great example of how we can bring care directly to the community,” said Ginger Tyra, Director of Community Relations at Piedmont Cartersville.
“Our older adults are incredibly engaged and eager to learn. It’s an honor to be part of something that empowers them to take charge of their health in such a welcoming and supportive environment.”
Piedmont Cartersville staff were on-site to provide information on services, including cardiology, rehabilitation, diabetes education, and imaging, all tailored to the needs of older adults. The event emphasized prevention, education, and connection—core values of Piedmont’s mission to make a positive difference in every life we touch.
The Senior Inforum continues to be a vital resource for Bartow County’s aging population, offering not only information but also inspiration for living well at every stage of life.
