Columbus, Ga. (October 28, 2024) – Piedmont Columbus Regional will bring a new, educational and healthy community event to the area called Walk With a Doc. Event participants meet and walk with local healthcare experts— asking them questions about a particular topic. Walks are held on the first Saturday of the month and each walk will have a different topic.

The first walk will take place on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Woodruff Riverfront Park at 1000 Bay Avenue in Uptown Columbus. Join bariatric surgeons Ken Copperwheat, D.O., and Jeremy Bryner, D.O., to discuss weight loss treatment options and they’ll answer any questions you may have. Check-in and warm-ups begin at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 9:30 a.m.

The next walk will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7 at Woodruff Riverfront Park.
