Snellville, Ga. (November 27, 2023) – Piedmont Eastside Hospital and Piedmont Physicians Surgical Specialists Eastside are pleased to welcome Daniel Maxwell, D.O. to the practice. Dr. Maxwell is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and specializes in robotic assisted and minimally invasive surgery of the abdomen, endocrine surgery, gastric surgery, colon and rectal surgery, endoscopy, and emergency general surgery.

Dr. Maxwell completed his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine before finishing his residency and fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Maxwell has a special interest in clinical research and quality outcomes, nutrition, and patient wellness. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, reading, writing, travelling, and spending time with family.
