Conyers, Ga. (Oct. 7, 2022) — Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is excited to welcome Jayaraman Venkatesan, M.D. to the Piedmont Heart Institute at Rockdale.

Dr. Venkatesan specializes in interventional cardiology and is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He has over 10 years of in treating complex coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease. He has performed about 400 peripheral procedures including: complex iliac, superficial femoral artery or SFA, and infra popliteal vessels in the setting of acute and chronic limb ischemia.

Dr. Venkatesan graduated from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (Deemed University) Kasturba Medical College in India in 2001 and competed his residency at Coney Island Hospital in 2007.
