Macon, Ga. (Nov. 16, 2021) – Healthgrades, one of the nation’s leading physician and hospital resource databases, released its annual list of top providers of orthopedic surgery and awarded Piedmont Macon North with a 2022 Orthopedic Surgery Excellence honor. Healthgrades analyzes hospital performance on more than 45 million Medicare medical claims records for more than 4,500 hospitals nationwide to develop this distinguished list. Only about 130 hospitals across the country and only four in the state of Georgia were recognized with this honor. Piedmont Macon North was recognized with the award for the fourth year in a row and is the only hospital in middle Georgia to be recognized.
