GIFT Supports Magill-Miller Advanced Heart Failure Clinic

The employee donors of GIFT (Getting Involved for Tomorrow) presented two gifts to Piedmont Athens Regional programs at the Celebrating Philanthropy dinner. These gifts support both the health of our community and the expansion of our services to those in need.

The Magill-Miller Advanced Heart Failure Clinic received $100,000 for digital education tools, new equipment, and a demonstration kitchen. Catherine Marti, M.D. and the experts from PHI-Athens have great plans for improving the health and quality of life for heart failure patients in our service area.

The Community Care Clinic received $100,000 to endow its medication assistance program that ensures patients have necessary medications regardless of their ability to pay.
