Jessie is Executive Director of the Piedmont Healthcare Foundation. Jessie’s primary responsibilities include the strategy, management and execution of Piedmont’s current campaign to secure $150M in donations to support Piedmont Atlanta’s hospital expansion. This exciting project will provide critical space for enhanced cardiovascular care including the Marcus Heart and Vascular Center, as well as provide needed expansion of other key healthcare services to further enhance Piedmont’s patient-centered focus. Jessie brings 20+ years of development, management and strategic planning experience to Piedmont. Prior to joining Piedmont Healthcare, Jessie served as the Director of Development for Camp Twin Lakes from 2008-2016, a non-profit focused on providing year-round camp programs for children with serious illnesses, disabilities, and life challenges. During her tenure, Camp Twin Lakes expanded from one to three campsites which, in turn, grew the number of campers served annually from 3,500 to 10,000. Jessie led two successful capital campaigns, doubled the annual operating budget, tripled major donor support, and secured significant annual surpluses each year during her service.

In addition to her years at Camp Twin Lakes, Jessie has also held various development and strategy roles including Director of Development and Special Projects for Jewish Healthcare International; International Senior Planning and Allocations Manager for the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta; International Program Director of community development in the former Soviet Union, Israel, and the US; as well as grant writing, strategic planning, and development consulting for a variety of nonprofits across Atlanta and Georgia. In addition, in 1996, Jessie spent a year leading community development efforts in Donetsk, Ukraine before moving to Atlanta.

In 2010, Jessie was selected as one of the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40. She is a graduate of the 2009 class of Leadership Buckhead and is currently a Board member and Program Facilitator for the organization. Jessie is currently an Advancement Advisor for the Epstein School and a graduate of the 2013 Leadership Epstein class. Jessie also served as a Hands On Atlanta Civic Leadership Mentor from 2013-2015.

Jessie grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree and a two-year extended study certificate program at the University of Alberta. She is married to her husband Michael and they are proud parents of two daughters.
