Stockbridge, Ga. (November 20, 2025) – Piedmont Henry Hospital recently hosted its Reach for the Stars Gala and raised over $110,000. The event celebrated the hospital’s commitment to caring for the community, as well as the individuals, businesses and organizations who support the not-for-profit hospital. The funds raised at the event, including all sponsorships, ticket sales, and auction income, will help Piedmont Henry sustain its oncology programs and operations while also enabling exciting new improvements and the provision of advanced technologies.

“While we wait for our new patient tower to open in the summer of 2026, we are making transformative changes in departments throughout the hospital,” said Piedmont Henry CEO David Kent. “Diagnostically, we’ve added a 64-slice CT scanner, a 3 Tesla MRI and a mobile PET Scan unit. The images we can produce for our patients are at the highest resolution we’ve ever been able to offer. We’ve also added oncologists, brought back Cancer Wellness programs and made it possible to have high-quality cancer care close to home.”
