Columbus, Ga. (October 3, 2025) – Join the Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center on Tuesday, Oct. 7 for the 23rd annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon benefitting the Elena Amos Breast Care Center. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. so guests can enjoy the Pink Partner Expo with area vendors and sponsors from across the region.
The tradition of entertaining continues at 11:30 a.m. with lunch and a keynote address from Karen Mills. Known for her sharp wit and relatable topics, this Tennessee girl performed on the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage and toured alongside comedy sensation Leanne Morgan.
Attendees will also hear an inspiring story of hope from 2025 featured breast cancer survivor Barbara Gauthier from WTVM News Leader 9. With more than 1,200 attendees each year, this event is a powerful opportunity to connect with the community while supporting an important mission.
Community support of this one-of-a-kind event over the years has helped create Hope and Healing Gardens at the John B. Amos Cancer Center, provide pink ribbon comfort bags for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and even helped purchase a Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) system for the breast care center. Your support will help Piedmont Oncology continue advancing breast care programs and services. Visit Piedmont.org or contact the Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation at 706.660.6115 to purchase a luncheon table, individual seats or make a donation.
