Jasper, Ga. (September 3, 2025) – Piedmont Mountainside Hospital recently hosted its annual Promise 360 Awards Celebration at Roo Mountain Vineyards, honoring employees who exemplify the Piedmont promise of making a positive difference in every life they touch. The Promise 360 program recognizes team members who live out Piedmont’s core values of championing excellence, embracing compassion, and serving with purpose. These values are the foundation of Piedmont’s mission to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients, families, and communities.
This year’s celebration recognized all monthly and quarterly winners from the past fiscal year (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025) and culminated in the announcement of two outstanding annual honorees. Stephanie Brooks, Staff RN (ICU), was named the Annual Spotlight Winner for her heartfelt acts of service, including singing hymns at a patient’s bedside and personally caring for another patient’s dog in her own home. Randy McAllister, Maintenance Tech (Plant Engineering), was honored as the Annual Champion for driving to a patient’s home during a snowstorm to clear their driveway and front porch, ensuring a safe return from the hospital. Randy will represent Piedmont Mountainside at the upcoming System Event, where he will be considered for the President’s Award and a $5,000 prize.
Denise Ray, CEO of Piedmont Mountainside, said the Promise 360 Celebration is one of the most inspiring events of the year. She emphasized that healthcare is not just about medicine—it’s about people—and praised Stephanie and Randy for embodying the heart of Piedmont through their compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to patients.
The Promise 360 Awards Celebration continues to be a cornerstone of Piedmont Mountainside’s culture, reinforcing the hospital’s commitment to excellence and its promise to care for every person with empathy and purpose.
