Dr. McGough earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is passionate about helping patients maintain good health through optimizing their diets, exercise routines, and sleeping habits. He places a strong emphasis on preventive care, age-appropriate vaccination, and the thoughtful use of evidence-based medical tests.

His clinical interests include the management of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes; support for patients dealing with anxiety and depression; and assistance with weight loss.
