Columbus, Ga. (July 15, 2025) – Piedmont has opened its first Piedmont QuickCare location in the Columbus area inside the Whittlesey Boulevard Walmart in North Columbus at Columbus Park Crossing.
The clinic offers treatment for minor injuries, non-life-threatening illnesses, vaccinations, sports and camp physicals and wellness services. Piedmont QuickCare makes it easier for people to take charge of their health and complements Piedmont’s existing options— virtual visits, primary care, specialty care, urgent care and emergency care.
“We’re always looking for opportunities to improve access to care to better serve our community, and QuickCare does just that,” said Piedmont Columbus Regional CEO Scott Hill. “Imagine doing your grocery shopping plus being able to take care of your minor illness/ailment, flu shot or have your child's sports physical completed all under the same roof.”
In addition to being the first Columbus-area QuickCare, this is the first location at a Walmart. Piedmont Quick Care’s 25 other locations across Georgia are at a Walgreens, other pharmacy or standalone.
“We’re excited to partner with Walmart in this new chapter to care for people ages 18 months and older,” said Piedmont Director of Retail Operations Susan Prayter. “Just like our other clinics, patients can conveniently schedule an appointment online or just walk in to receive high-quality care.”
Board-certified family nurse practitioners see patients at Piedmont QuickCare Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit Piedmont.org/QuickCare for more information.
