Athens, Ga. (August 5, 2024) – Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center and Piedmont Physicians Group are pleased to announce that rheumatology physician Komal Ejaz, M.D., has joined Piedmont Athens Regional Rheumatology, located at 1270 Prince Avenue, Suite 303, in Athens.

Dr. Ejaz specializes in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, vasculitis, osteoporosis, lupus, gout, psoriatic arthritis, spondyloarthritis, polymyositis/dermatomyositis, and Sjogren’s Syndrome.

Dr. Ejaz completed her internal medicine residency at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education, where she also served as Chief Resident. Before joining Piedmont Athens, she completed a Rheumatology Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
