Columbus, Ga. (May 16, 2024) – Join the John B. Amos Cancer Center for a local observance of National Cancer Survivors Day. The event will take place on June 8 from 10 a.m. to noon at the cancer center. This year's theme is “kick up your heels and celebrate as we give cancer the boot.”

The free event will feature a parade of cancer survivors either walking or riding in a vehicle in the color of their cancer awareness ribbon. There will be a cancer survivor guest speaker, vendors, giveaways, food and sweet treats.
