To Our Patients:
The Marcus Heart Valve Team and Cardiac Surgery Team are back in full swing. We are excited to be back doing what we love, and have had great success taking care of our patients both near and far.
As always, your safety is very important to us. Piedmont is paying close attention to current CDC guidelines. What that means for you is: Your temperature will be taken at the entrance of buildings or clinics; we have social distancing waiting areas; and we are requiring patients and their support person to wear clean masks. COVID-19 tests are administered prior to any procedure or surgery.
We are seeing patients in clinic as well as utilizing telehealth consults, so you may have a combination of these visits.
You may bring one support person with you to clinic, for testing and for your preadmission testing appointment. Piedmont currently has a no inpatient visitation policy - this would apply if you are admitted to the hospital following your procedure or surgery.
Please know that guidelines change daily. Our team has shown tremendous flexibility during this time and we will keep you updated as well if anything changes.
