Nicole Sroka M.D. received a bachelor's degree in molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Sroka completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York City. She is a board certified General Surgeon, specializing in Breast Surgery. Dr. Sroka is a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the Southeastern Surgical Society. She is also an accomplished pianist and enjoys cooking and traveling. Dr. Sroka welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
Mio Yanagisawa, MD, received her undergraduate degree in Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University. She then earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and completed her General Surgery residency at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. She is board certified in General Surgery. She then pursued further specialization through fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology through Emory University.
Dr. Yanagisawa specializes in the surgical and multi-disciplinary management of breast cancer care. She is also trained in the treatment and management of benign breast conditions. She has a special interest in oncoplastic surgery and hidden scar and the aesthetic mastectomy surgical techniques. She is passionate about personalizing breast cancer care to the individual needs of the patient and caring for her patients in a wholistic approach.
In her spare time, Dr. Yanagisawa enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, hiking, and SCUBA diving.

Rebecca Ambrose, RN, MSN, CNM is a board certified nurse practitioner who earned her MSN from Case Western Reserve University, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to that she earned her Midwifery Certification from Frontier School of Midwifery in Hyden, KY and her BSN from Emory University, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing in Atlanta, GA.
Rebecca has over 30 years of clinical experience as a highly educated nursing professional caring for women and their families. She is dedicated to delivering the highest level of service to every patient with an ability to connect with patients of all ages.
In her spare time, Rebecca is an avid gardener and enjoys baking and spending time with family and friends.
Memorie Nichols, PA-C, graduated from the Cornell University Weill Medical College Physician Assistant Program. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science from Auburn University and a Master of Science in nutrition and health sciences from Emory University. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Memorie worked at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in the department of plastic and reproductive surgery. She also worked in Atlanta with the Surgical Assistants of America and Prime Health MD. In her free time, Memorie enjoys dancing, cooking vegan dishes, being physically active, and travelling with her husband.
