Fitness Center Class Descriptions

Killer Combo - A great class for any fitness level. A combination of hi-low step & kickboxing & other aerobic moves! High energy cardio & strength!

Step Sculpt / Step Circuit - This 1 hour class promotes cross training, in a circuit format with use of the Reebok Core board, resistance bands, core ball, weights & a step to strengthen all muscle groups!

Power Hour - Personal training in a group setting. All participants use dumbbells, weighted bars, & plates based on your fitness level. Improve total body strength, a real body pump for all fitness levels!

Cycle - Cycling will empower you! Enjoy a great cardiovascular workout while pedaling a stationary bike with awesome music & a motivating leader! Beginners welcome, NO HELMET REQUIRED!

Pilates - Pilates (pul-lah-teez) is a popular exercise regimen that emphasizes flexibility & core strength using specific conditioning exercises. The Pilates method of exercise is medically recommended to increase the abdominals; improve body alignment & muscular balance. All movements are performed in a non-impact balanced system of mind & body. Mats are provided if needed.

Seniors on the Ball - This class consist of strength, balance & flexibility training using the stability ball. If you're not ready for the ball, all exercises can be performed in a chair. FREE to anyone 62 & over!

SilverSneakers® Classic MSROM (Muscular Strength & Range of Movement) - A class designed to increase strength, range of movement, agility, balance and coordination to improve participant's functional capacities, physical fitness level and sense of well being.

SilverSneakers® Cardio Circuit - a non-impact class designed to improve cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength and endurance.

Yoga - Several types of Yoga classes are offered to increase flexibility, reduce stress & enhance strength! All classes include Hatha yoga postures based on the Iyengar and Anasura methods.

Yoga Strength - A challenging workout that fuses functional strength & flexibility with the added benefits of resistance training.

*Exercise is Medicine – “Move & learn” activity designed to offer those of all ages with chronic diseases the cardio, strength, flexibility & balance training they need to safely improve chronic health condition symptoms.

**Tabata Row – Utilize the high intensity interval training of Tabata.  8 rounds alternating 20 seconds of work with 10 seconds of recovery both on and off the rower.  High intensity, short durations & powerful results!

**TRX – Born in the Navy SEALs, Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility & core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a highly portable performance training tool that leverages gravity and the use’s body weight to complete hundreds of exercises. (Limit of 8 per class)

Lunch Express Classes Monday- Friday (30min) - Mon. = Circuit / Tues. = Tabata Row / Wed. = Sculpt / Thurs = TRX / Fri. = Core.

**Barre – A series of movements that strengthen the entire body and ensure that No muscle is overlooked. With a combination of functional strength, ballet poses, Pilates & Yoga; We use bodyweight as a resistance to focus on alignment and optimal posture while enhancing body awareness, coordination, balance & overall strength. (No dance background required)

Zumba - A fusion of hypnotic Latin rhythms & easy to follow moves make this fun, different & effective workout! Skip the workout, join the party!

*Beginner level / **Moderate / ***Advanced NOTE: If you are visiting the class for the 1st time please introduce yourself to the instructor so that we can keep an extra eye on you!
