Tyler Williams, executive chef at TAP gastropub in Atlanta, explains why probiotics and fiber are essential for maintaining a healthy digestive system.

“Probiotics and fiber are two key elements you need in your diet,” says Williams. “Quinoa, legumes and fresh vegetables can provide a healthy dose of fiber. And it’s important to choose natural sources of probiotics like yogurt or kefir, which are far superior to supplemental probiotics.”

Creating balanced meals is the key to getting all of the nutrients you need.

“You’re doing your body a service and that’s a beautiful thing,” Williams says.
