Current Responsibilities

Trey Joyner joined the Piedmont Healthcare Foundation team in February 2016. Trey manages the oversight of philanthropic gifts for the Piedmont Healthcare serving as financial liaison to corporate Finance, executive officers, and system/hospital leadership. Additionally, Trey plays a key role in Foundation strategic planning, project management, overall compliance, and implementation of philanthropic initiatives across the system.

Prior Experience
Prior to joining Piedmont, Trey Joyner served as the Federal Programs Manager at the Georgia Department of Agriculture, where he oversaw the overall performance and financial status of all agency projects and grants. Trey Joyner assisted in the evaluation of department budgets and analyzing financial needs to facilitate long-range and strategic goals. In addition, Trey Joyner coordinated the agency's four-year strategic plan and annual Leadership Development Institute.

Education, Awards and Community
Mr. Joyner earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs and Linguistics with a minor in African Studies from the University of Georgia.
