Snellville, Ga. (November 18, 2025) – Piedmont Eastside Medical Center and Piedmont Oncology are pleased to welcome Sami Ali, M.D. Dr. Ali is an experienced, board-certified hematologist/medical oncologist with expertise in the multidisciplinary care of patients with lung cancer, colorectal cancer, hematologic disorders, or other conditions.

Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Ali practiced hematology and medical oncology for eight years at The Oncology Institute in Los Angeles, Ca. He provided comprehensive care for patients with hematologic or oncologic conditions, developed and implemented individualized treatment plans, and participated in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.

Dr. Ali received his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean. He completed his internal medicine residency and fellowship in hematology/oncology at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
