Monroe, Ga. (September 2, 2025) – Piedmont Walton Hospital is excited to announce the third annual Cookout for a Cause on Friday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Piedmont Walton Hospital campus. All proceeds from the cookout will benefit Piedmont Walton’s Breast Health Imaging Center.
Piedmont Walton in February opened the Breast Imaging Center, expanding access to breast health care in the community. The center offers screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and will soon offer stereotactic breast biopsies, and ultrasound-guided core biopsies.
Your support will help expand Piedmont Walton's breast imaging program, including initiatives such as patient care supplies, patient education, patient and caregiver support, and capital improvements.
Individual lunch tickets cost $15 each, or attendees can purchase a bundle and receive an event t-shirt and lunch ticket for $30. There are also sponsorship opportunities available that include a specified number of lunch tickets and t-shirts. The sponsorships deadline is September 20th, to secure full sponsor benefits. This year’s presenting sponsors are Athens Radiology Associates and McCarthy. Together, we’re ensuring our community has high-quality breast care, close to home.
