Atlanta, Ga. (July 30, 2025)— Piedmont Oncology will host its inaugural Luminaria gala on Oct. 25. at Flourish Atlanta, presented by Brasfield & Gorrie. The fundraiser will illuminate a new tomorrow in cancer care for the more than 14,000 newly diagnosed cancer patients Piedmont Oncology cares for each year across its 40 locations.

Led by honorary chairs, Karen and Tom Chapman, Luminaria will support Piedmont’s systemwide expansion of oncology research, cutting-edge treatment and cancer wellness programs.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception and wine wall followed by a formal dinner program featuring patient stories, a silent and live auction, live music and dancing. WSB-TV anchor, and grateful Piedmont patient, Wendy Corona will be the emcee for the evening.
