Blairsville, Ga. (July 3, 2025) – Piedmont Heart Institute of Blairsville is proud to announce the addition of Rodney Graber, M.D., a board-certified cardiologist with more than 26 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine.
Dr. Graber began his medical journey with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Eastern Mennonite University, followed by a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Toledo. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia and went on to earn his fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at The Ohio State University.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Graber has held several academic and clinical positions. From 1999 to 2012, he served as an assistant professor of non-invasive cardiology at The Ohio State University in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Most recently, he practiced as a non-invasive cardiologist at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville, Virginia, from 2012 to 2025.
Dr. Graber is board-certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Adult Echocardiography, and Cardiovascular Nuclear Medicine. His clinical interests and expertise align with these specialties, ensuring comprehensive and advanced care for his patients.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Graber enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including gardening, camping, biking, hiking, hunting, fly-fishing, golfing, and walking his dogs.
