Piedmont Athens Regional is seeking a BE/BC Colorectal Surgeon to join our growing general/colorectal surgery department. This opportunity will provide a qualified candidate to join an established, high-volume practice. Our medical group welcomes new graduates and experienced physicians to apply. We are looking for a partner with interests in foregut, endoscopic procedures, colorectal, hernia or any other minimally invasive interests Robotic experience is a plus, but not mandatory. We have an excellent, cooperative relationship with GI providers in the community that works hand in hand with our surgeons. We try to offer work/life balance within the Piedmont family and call rotation is manageable with Piedmont Athens Regional’s surgicalist team covering the trauma call and the robust team of hospitalists that provide 24-hour coverage.

Piedmont Athens Regional is part of Piedmont Healthcare’s integrated system of 20+ hospitals. Our Athens campus is comprised of a Level II Trauma Center and has just added a newly renovated patient tower that now added close to 100 beds.
