Why you need Piedmont Link
You no longer need to use the phone or fax. Piedmont Link provides the ability to access patient information by simply logging in to the portal.
What is Piedmont Link?
Piedmont Link (also referred to as EpicCare Link or P-Link) is an Epic web-based application that connects you to Piedmont Healthcare’s Electronic Health Record, allowing better continuity of care for your patients. Patients can be seen at Piedmont facilities and then their non-Piedmont care team can receive notifications and updates via Piedmont Link. This access gives you the information you need to make informed decisions on your patients’ ongoing care. It allows the end user to:
- Send and receive referrals
- Submit outpatient lab and imaging orders
- Access to clinical documentation, including charges and coding information necessary for billing.
- Easily access test results, progress notes, procedural notes and other pertinent health information from a patient’s Piedmont chart
- Receive post-acute care referrals electronically and accept/deny referrals quickly and easily
- Send messages to providers and other users directly from your browser
- Request and view HIM information. Piedmont Link allows end users to submit requests and view released standard Request of Information reports.
- *NEW* View Standard Reports. Piedmont Link users can now pull standard reports, allowing you to track and follow up on trends, such as your referrals. *Current users can reach out to the Piedmont Link team for assistance with report access.
- Surgical Coordinator Access. Allowing real-time view of surgeon’s schedule at Piedmont facilities.
Who needs Piedmont Link
Any facility (Offices, Rehabs, SNFs, DME, PT/ST/OT, Researchers, Auditors, Hospitals, etc.) that is not a part of the Piedmont Enterprise (including Piedmont’s Community Connect) who need access to Piedmont patient information.
It’s all online!
The online portal provides secure, convenient access to patient information through your browser – when and where you need it. Your access is easy to setup and there is no software or hardware to maintain.
