Primary Care Conference

Thank you to everyone who attended this year’s conference! Check back for updates for our 11th Annual Primary Care Conference in January 2020. Here are a few takeaways from some attendees:

  • “[I will] re-evaluate COPD and antihypertensive therapies to make sure I am following the most evidence-based recommendations”.
  • “I will try to incorporate Motivational Interviewing in patient visits. I plan to research which COPD inhalers we can get through PAP for more effective COPD management”.
  • Consideration of broader perspective of nicotine replacement therapy. Patient symptom assessment in COPD using CAT. Recommend non-opioids for pain. Delay recommendation for shingles prescriptions after shingles diagnosis”.
