Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of the conference, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss evidence-based treatment options for medical conditions commonly seen in primary care relative to the knowledge and expertise of each of the inter-professional team members.
  • Identify collaborative behaviors necessary for the effective implementation of appropriate treatment options for medical conditions commonly seen in the primary care setting.
  • Describe their role in the diagnosis, management, and referral of patients with medical conditions commonly seen in the primary care setting.
  • Employ skills to foster inter-professional team work and team-based, collaborative care for patients with medical conditions commonly seen in the primary care setting.

 

Cost

Non-Piedmont physicians: $15 per day (separate charge for each day)
Piedmont physicians and staff: No fee
Other health care professional: No fee

 

CME Credit Hours

Piedmont Healthcare is accredited by the Medical Association of Georgia to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Piedmont Healthcare designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

6.0 Nursing Contact Hours
Piedmont Healthcare is an approved provider of nursing continuing professional development by the South Carolina Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

6.0 CPE for Pharmacists
