About Our Conference

The challenges facing prehospital care professionals are many -- complex patients, potentially hazardous work environments, stress, and being on the forefront of emerging public health crises like opioids. To help EMS professionals meet these many challenges, we have assembled a panel of experts to share their knowledge and expertise on a number of topics important to EMS professionals.

Topics for this year’s conference were based on the identified needs of the EMS community. The conference format will include didactic lectures, case studies, and question and answer sessions and will feature a dynamic group of speakers selected for their expertise on the topics being presented.

  • LVAD: Overview for EMS Professionals
  • Active Shooter - The Las Vegas Experience
  • PTSD
  • CVA, STEMI and Trauma Activation Updates
  • Survivor Stories: Opioids
  • STEMI or Not? 12 Lead ECG Challenges
