Volunteer Opportunities at Piedmont Newnan
Piedmont Newnan Hospital's volunteers are a dedicated group of individuals that provide their time and services to support the hospital’s mission to make a positive difference in every life we touch.
Volunteer opportunities are available in the following service areas, five days a week with some service areas available seven days a week, nights and weekends:
- Information Desks
- Surgical Services
- Gift Shop
- Breast Health Centers
- Emergency Services
- Fitness Center
- Cancer Wellness Center
- Wound Care
- Inpatient Services
- Laboratory
- Spiritual Services
- Courtesy Cart Drivers
- Infusion Center
Volunteer Requirements
All Piedmont Newnan Hospital volunteers are required to:
- Follow all Piedmont Newnan Hospital Policies and Procedures
- Attend an orientation and annual re-training.
- Meet annual health requirements, which include a TB test and a flu shot.
- Serve a minimum of 75 hours per year
Adult men and women, over 18 years of age, are invited to join our volunteer program at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Please print and complete the application and the background check authorization form. Two people who know you well, other than a relative, must complete the Personal Reference Forms. Mail the completed application to the address on the application or email to PNH.Auxiliary@piedmont.org. Once all documents have been received and the application is complete, the Volunteer Services office will contact you to schedule an interview. Please note: Volunteering is not an internship program, nor is it a means to obtain a job within the hospital. We view volunteering as a long-term commitment and seek individuals who will serve for years to come. The Volunteer Services Dept. does not place community service volunteers.
