Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of the conference, participants will be able to:  

  • Discuss evidence-based treatment options for cardiovascular health conditions relative to the knowledge and expertise of each of the inter-professional team members.
  • Identify collaborative behaviors necessary for the effective implementation of appropriate treatment options for cardiovascular conditions.
  • Describe their role in the diagnosis, management, and referral of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
  • Employ skills to foster inter-professional team work and team-based, collaborative care for patients with cardiovascular conditions.

The fee for this conference is $75 for non-Piedmont affiliated physicians. Piedmont affiliated physicians, staff, and other members of the medical team may attend at no charge.
