Palliative Care
The Palliative Care Program at Piedmont is designed to meet the needs of patients with serious illness. Palliative care is a coordinated, comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Our team cares for patients at any stage of an illness and works together with the patient’s physicians to help lead and coordinate care between the physicians and other care providers.
Palliative care focuses on:
• Prognosis
• Goals of care and advance care planning
• Treatment options
