Judith Cauvin, M.D. earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Shereceivedher medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed her residency in family medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Cauvin served as the associate medical director of the North Miami Medical Center, Rosie Lee. Dr. Cauvin is board certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice. She is fluent in French, Creole and Spanish. Dr. Cauvin welcomes new patients and accepts most major insurance plans.
Maria Goyco, M.D. received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico and her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in family medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Goyco, who is bilingual in Spanish and English, has been in practice for 15 years in the metro Atlanta area. She is board certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Goyco’s special interests include preventative medicine and women’s care. When she is not working, Dr. Goyco enjoys running, cycling and playing tennis. Dr. Goyco welcomes new patients and accepts mostinsurance plans.
Dr. Edwards-Hall earned her undergraduate and medical degree from Howard University in Washington D.C. She completed her residency at Emory University where she later served as an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Edwards-Hall has practiced medicine in Atlanta for over 18 years. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians at Newnan, she practiced at QTC Medical, Concourse Health Center, Comprehensive Medical Associates, the Emory Clinic, and Kaiser Permanente all in the Atlanta area. She is board-certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Edwards-Hall is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
Dr. Dalwai graduated with her medical degree from D.Y. Patil Medical College in India. She completed her internship at CPR Hospital in India and her residency at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. She is board-certified in family practice. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians Group, Dr. Dalwai practiced at Premier Medical Group of Coweta in Newnan, Georgia and Wilson Community Health Center in Wilson, North Carolina. She has a special interest in gynecologic procedures. When treating patients, she believes it is important to address both the mental and physical needs of the patient because taking care of patients as a whole leads to better health. In her spare time, Dr. Dalwai enjoys cooking and spending time with her two sons. Dr. Dalwai is currently accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
Dr. Courson earned his bachelors degree from the University of Georgia and earned his medical degree from Georgia Campus Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete a Traditional Rotating Internship at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and subsequently completed his residency at Houston Medical Center. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
Dr. Courson treats a wide variety of multiple medical conditions. He has a special interest in women’s health, as he also has prior experience in OBGYN residency training. He also has a special interest in medical education and looks forward to teaching medical students and others interested in the field of medicine.
In his spare time, Dr. Courson enjoys sports, especially college football. He enjoys staying active and traveling with intent to explore the outdoors.
Holly Hicks-DeRidder PA-C, earned her Bachelor of Science in education and sports medicine from Central Michigan University. She then received her Master of Science in education and sports medicine from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. After teaching high school in the Chicago area for a year she attended the University of Detroit Mercy College where she completed the physician assistant program. Holly has been practicing Family Medicine in Newnan since 1999. She welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
