Dr. Rogers, M.D., FACS, earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia where he completed his internship and residency in general surgery. He completed a fellowship in Bern, Switzerland in experimental medicine and a thoracic surgery fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He then pursued further vascular surgery training at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga. Certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Rogers is well versed in general surgery and laparoscopic procedures of the stomach, gallbladder, appendix, colon, thyroid and hernias as well as vascular surgery, vascular access and thoracic surgery. He is the director of the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center at Piedmont Newton Hospital. Dr. Rogers and his wife Julie have four children. In his free time he enjoys gardening (he is most proud of his hydrangeas) and skeet shooting. He is very involved in many local community activities. As a retired Lt. Colonel , he served 22 years in the US Army Reserves Medical Corps. Dr. Rogers welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.

Edward Timmins, D.O., FACS, earned his medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then attended the Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, NY where he completed a residency in general surgery. Dr. Timmins has over 20 years of experience in working in general surgery and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He specializes in a broad base of general surgery including thyroid, breast and abdominal procedures. His special interests include laparoscopic surgery of the gallbladder, appendix, colon and hernia repair with complex abdominal wall reconstruction.

Christopher Vetter, MD

Christopher Vetter, M.D., earned his medical degree at Ross University College of Medicine after obtaining a master's degree in medical science at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He subsequently completed a residency in General Surgery at Carle Foundation Hospital / Carle Illinois College of Medicine. During this time, he published peer-reviewed research in the fields of hernia surgery and breast surgical oncology and served as a Councilor of the Illinois Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He has obtained additional certifications in medical informatics, quality and safety, and robotic surgery.
Dr. Vetter specializes in general surgery including minimally invasive, abdominal, hernia, breast and endocrine surgery. He also has a strong interest in medical informatics and its applications with regard to performance improvement.
In his spare time, Dr. Vetter enjoys hiking and spending time with his family and golden retriever.
