Foundation Operations Analyst



Trey Joyner began working with the Piedmont Healthcare Foundation in February 2016 as the Grant and Fund Coordinator for the Piedmont Healthcare Foundation. In his role, he was responsible for the management and oversight of philanthropic gifts and grant awards for the Piedmont Healthcare system. In his current role, Mr. Joyner continues to manage the implementation of philanthropic gifts and additionally supports the Foundation's business development efforts through market analysis, industry research, and other key strategic initiatives.

Prior Experience
Prior to joining Piedmont, Mr. Joyner served as the Federal Programs Manager at the Georgia Department of Agriculture, where he oversaw the overall performance and financial status of all agency projects and grants. Mr. Joyner assisted in the evaluation of department budgets and analyzing financial needs to facilitate long-range and strategic goals. In addition, Mr. Joyner coordinated the agency's four-year strategic plan and annual Leadership Development Institute.

Education, Awards and Community
Mr. Joyner earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs and Linguistics with a minor in African Studies from the University of Georgia.
