Current Responsibilities
Morgan Turner is the Philanthropy Officer at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. In her role, she manages the midlevel giving program by building a bridge between annual donors and major gift donors. Using research, strategy, and relationship building, Morgan engages the midlevel audience through special donor experiences and assisting supporters navigate their program interests.
Prior Experience
Morgan has over 10 years of experience working in nonprofit fundraising and development. Prior to joining Piedmont Healthcare, Morgan came from CHRIS 180, a local mental health nonprofit, starting as a database manager and transitioning into the role of Major Gift Officer. Enthusiastic about systems and processes, Morgan started her fundraising career in database administration for legal services and advocacy organizations in New York City which include Human Rights First, Urban Justice Center, and The Sikh Coalition.
Education, Awards and Community
Morgan received a dual Master's degree in International Affairs from the American University of Paris and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. A native of Atlanta, she received her Bachelor's degree from Georgia State University and was born at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. She is a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
