Piedmont Heart Grand Rounds:  What are the sex-specific risk factors for heart disease in women? Denise Reedus, DNP, APRN and Barbara Conlon, DNP, FNP-BC, AAC review the recently released American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association guidelines for prevention of cardiovascular disease in women. Hear how the guideline updates inspired the Piedmont women’s heart screening program to include a stronger focus on adverse pregnancy outcomes and psychosocial issues.
