Atlanta, Ga. (February 18, 2021) – Piedmont Atlanta Hospital has announced plans to expand and enhance Women’s Services at the hospital, creating The Women’s Center at Piedmont Atlanta.

The Women’s Center at Piedmont Atlanta will include state-of-the-art patient rooms, an updated nursery, upgraded operating rooms and ample training and education space. Family lounges will be spread throughout the Center, and there will be an easy, direct entrance for patients arriving to the hospital.

“This investment in Women’s Services at Piedmont Atlanta is a reflection of the incredible care our physicians, nurses, technologists and other team members have provided to women in our community for many years,” said Patrick Battey, M.D., CEO of Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. “While the facility will be receiving an upgrade, our commitment for providing expert one-of-a-kind care to each patient remains.”

Construction is anticipated to begin this Fall and is expected to take three years. The hospital will continue to offer Women’s Services during construction.
