ATLANTA (Oct. 31, 2008) – Piedmont Physicians in Atlantic Station welcomes Alan Perry, M.D., to its physician team. Dr. Perry is board-certified in family practice and has 10 years of medical experience in Georgia. He will begin seeing patients on Nov. 5, 2008.
Dr. Perry earned his undergraduate degree from Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn. and his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston Salem, N.C. He then completed his residency in family practice at Emory University where he was chief resident.
Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians in Atlantic Station, Dr. Perry practiced at Eagle’s Landing Family Practice in Stockbridge, Ga. He provides a full range of care for patients ages four and older. He also teaches third and fourth year medical students as an adjunct professor of family medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Georgia Academy of Family Physicians.
